Welcome to our newly constructed modern mountain home. Nestled in the Mt. Hood forest on a half acre, just minutes away from some of the most beautiful Oregon hiking trails, lakes, sledding hills, biking, world class skiing and more! A tranquil space, where you can lounge, soak in the bathtub, play some shuffle board, board games, walk to Henry creek, or relax on the huge decks (with overhead heater) and enjoy the views. We are located near popular restaurants & year round Mt. Hood recreation.
Good to know
Our cabin is approximately 2000 square foot and newly construction and set on over a half acre of old growth wooded forest with easy access. We've done our best to not miss any details for your stay! Come enjoy a mountain experience with all of the modern luxuries. The cabin features dual zone heating and cooling for the upstairs and downstairs with thermostats located on each level with individual controls. -=Kitchen=- Our kitchen features high end appliances with many built in features not normally seen. We also have a Keurig coffee maker that is well stocked with plenty of Coffee varieties, Hot Chocolates and Teas. As well as sugars, creamers and other coffee amenities. -=Bedrooms=- Spacious mountain retreat with 4 bedrooms. Two bedrooms are downstairs on the ground level as you come in with their own living room and ensuite bathroom. The ensuite bathroom features a shower with high end fixtures and dual shower heads for an optimal experience. The other 2 are upstairs with the living room and kitchen. The property is perfect for couples utilizing just the upstairs or downstairs for a cozy feeling or large groups / multi-family stays each with their own level to themselves. Every bedroom has its own smart TV as well as both living rooms. -=Downstairs=- The Downstairs features an open living room and gameroom complete with shuffleboard, 75" Roku TV, record player and fun board games to enjoy during your stay. As well as a full laundry and second bathroom attached to the main living room. -=Upstairs=- The Upstairs features vaulted wood ceilings for that cozy cabin feeling and a full stocked kitchen with everything you could ever need for whatever your Chef's heart desires. There is also a full bathroom with bathub upstairs and 2 decks on each end of the house. The front deck overlooks the driveway as you come up to the house and has a spectacular view of the canyon side across in the distance. The back deck looks directly up the hill into the Mt. Hood national forest. Enjoy a relaxing cup of hot chocolate or coffee and stare off into the wilderness! -=Bathrooms=- Primary Bathroom - Attached to the King bedroom downstairs this bathroom features a large walk in tiled shower with dual shower heads and double vanity for a unique spa like experience, with plenty of toiletries including shaving cream, soap, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, tooth brushes, toothpaste, makeup remover, Qtips and more. Upstairs Full Bath - This bathroom features a shower/tub combo and double vanity sinks along with a fully stocked supply of toiletries from the list above. Downstairs Half Bath - This bathroom is attached to the laundry room and features a toilet and vanity and a few limited toiletries, soaps etc. -=Location=- - Located within 10min of most major ski areas. - 10min from the worlds largest night ski area. - 2 to 5min to incredible fine local restaurants, shops and coffee shops! Enjoy the best biscuits and gravy around without having to get on the highway and avoid all traffic at Fernies Coffee located 2min at the entrance of Henry Cr - 2min walk to scenic Henry Cr. Fun to play in during the summer months. - Fast WIFI (rarity for this area) -=About the neighborhood=- We are located in a very prime spot! Just minutes away from all the major ski resorts and even closer to major food, coffee shops, popular lakes, rivers and other attractions. We are also located just before any major ski traffic starts and it is quick to get in/out always! Enjoy a fresh homemade bagel sandwich from Fernies Coffee shop or their famous biscuits and gravy 2min away or a scrumptious burger from the Zig zag inn down the road 5min. There is also world famous BBQ within minutes right off highway 26. Winter Note: * This property is considered in a snow zone. While we don't get several feet of snow usually please be prepared for winter driving conditions.
